What do I need to bring to a yoga class?

For a yoga class you don't need too much, but here are a few things that can make your practice more enjoyable:

Yoga Ma- don't worry if you don't have your own mat. Just let me know and I'll have one ready for you.

Comfortable Clothing - something stretchy and breathable is ideal, like leggings or a soft top. You want to feel free to move.

Water Bottle - it's always good to stay hydrated so feel free to bring a bottle that suits your needs.

An Open Mind and Patience - Yoga is all about the journey, not perfection. Come with an open heart, a relaxed attitude and the willingness to be present with yourself - whatever that looks like on the day.

Is yoga suitable for beginners?

Absolutely! Yoga is for everyone, no matter your experience level. I offer modifications throughout so that everyone can practice at their own pace and ability.

What if I'm not flexible?

That's absolutely okay! Flexibility  is a journey that comes with time and practice. Yoga is all about listening to your body and honouring where you are in each moment, without any pressure to force yourself into a specific shape.

What happens in a typical class?

Each class begins with mindful breath work, gently guiding you into the present moment. We then flow through soothing warm-ups, followed by a sequence of nourising poses and stretches. The practice concludes with a serene period of relaxation or meditation, allowing you to absorb the benefits of the practice.
